ARTHRITIS CONSUMER EXPERTS STRENGTHENS COMMUNICATIONS TEAM
(Vancouver, BC) — Arthritis Consumer Experts (ACE), one of Canada’s leading patient education and arthritis advocacy organizations, today announces the appointment of Anita Chan as the JointHealth™ Program Coordinator.

Arthritis Consumer Experts is confident the addition of Ms. Chan to its core team will bolster ACE’s outreach to stakeholders across Canada: “Anita Chan’s communications and healthcare experience and expertise in communications will strengthen ACE’s outreach to patients, healthcare professionals and governments across Canada,” said Cheryl Koehn, founder and President of Arthritis Consumer Experts.

As ACE’s Program Coordinator, Anita Chan will enable ACE to better serve the growing number of Canadians living with arthritis.

Ms. Chan is responsible for research as part of the development and implementation of communications and public affair strategies and will play a large role in media and social media outreach. She also coordinates special event plans and programs and is responsible for creative input into program design and implementation.

Anita graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University and has a certificate in public relations. She has experience with working in the public sector from her previous work as a public relations coordinator at Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada, Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, and Crystal Mall.
