The Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan supports the Arthritis Society Canada’s call for action on arthritis care and treatment.

We will endeavor to reduce wait times for surgeries. We also intend to remedy the long wait times currently experienced by those who require access to primary care services, see specialists, and obtain a proper diagnosis, especially in rural and remote areas.

The PC Party will do its best to ensure that people living with arthritis are provided with appropriate and effective health care.

The PC Party will endeavor to ensure that care givers are well versed in the challenges of working with arthritis patients. We will also communicate with the Arthritis Society on a regular basis so they can assist in ensuring that care givers receive the required education to work with patients and provide effective care.

To further support all seniors in Saskatchewan, the PC Party of Saskatchewan is committed to creating a new Ministry for Seniors. We will rely on organizations such as the Arthritis Society to provide information and feedback to ensure that this new ministry is as effective and supportive as possible to our seniors.
