Online survey: Share YOUR thoughts about a new app to help you be more active

Did you know that walking 10 blocks a day can help improve cognitive health and may even be good for joint health in the long term?

Canadian health consumers like you are developing a new app, called Walk 10 Blocks, that will help you and your friends become more physically active in your neighbourhood, and even make it fun!

Walk 10 Blocks is part of a research and health consumer partnership called ICON, funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research.

We want to know what you need in an app like Walk 10 Blocks where you live. Your input will help create a map-based app that will customize walking and exercise for all Canadian users. We also want to know your thoughts on the best ways to raise public awareness about the Walk 10 Blocks initiative.

Please take 10-15 minutes to fill out this survey. All responses will remain anonymous and confidential and there will be no information collected that will identify you. The deadline to complete the survey is Tuesday, April 7.
