New Addition to Team ACE

Arthritis Consumer Experts (ACE) is pleased to announce the addition of a new member of the team. Anita Chan is taking over the role of Arthritis Consumer Experts’ JointHealth™ Program Coordinator. She will be responsible for research as part of the development and implementation of communications and public affair strategies and will play a large role in media and social media outreach. She will also coordinate special event plans and programs and be responsible for creative input into program design and implementation.
Anita graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University and has a certificate in public relations. She has experience with working in the public sector from her previous work as a public relations coordinator at Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada, Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, and Crystal Mall.
Anita’s appointment will enable ACE to better serve the growing number of Canadians living with arthritis.
Anita is taking over the Program Coordinator role from Victoria Kline, who is returning to school and entering University of Victoria’s School of Information of Health Science. We are excited for Victoria as she continues her career in the health field.
Anita Chan’s first day at ACE is May 6, 2013. She looks forward to meeting the many friends of ACE across the country in the coming months.
