The Scleroderma Society of Canada is holding its 13th annual patient conference and AGM in Vancouver on September 28 and 29. The event offers a full program of workshops, speakers who are experts in scleroderma and lupus, and focus groups.
Event items include:
For those who would like to learn about current research in scleroderma and lupus, there will be a poster session with research students and their mentors in attendance ready to answer questions. Plus, there will be opportunities to socialize during a dessert reception and a bus tour of Vancouver.

Register early to save on the cost of the conference. If you register between now and August 31, the price is $45, but if you register from September 1 on, it will cost $50. The last day to register is September 20. The optional bus tour is an additional $10.

- A talk about Symptom Management Including Pain and Fatigue
- Four breakout scleroderma focus groups on the following topics:
- The Scleroderma Patient-centred Intervention Network (SPIN) - Managing Depression and Body Image Concerns
- Personalized Medicine in Scleroderma
- Make-up Tricks for Scleroderma and Lupus*
- Dental Issues in Scleroderma and Research Results
