#FactsFriday – Dr. Jonathan Hausmann is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a pediatric and adult rheumatologist at the Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In this episode, he explains what the COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance (GRA) is and what they are doing to help patients. The GRA’s mission is to create a secure, de-identified, international case reporting registry and curate and disseminate the outputs from that registry. The GRA hopes that the information collected will help guide rheumatology clinicians in assessing and treating patients with rheumatologic diseases and in evaluating the risk of infection in patients on immunosuppression.
