As the provincial election nears, All Candidates meetings will be held in many ridings across the province. These meetings are a great chance to ask candidates questions about issues of great importance to the arthritis community in BC.

To find out when an All Candidates meeting will be held in your area, call the campaign office of any candidate running for election in your riding. Contact information for BC NDP candidates can be found here, and contact information for BC Liberal candidates is here.

ACE has created a list of questions to ask candidates whenever the opportunity arises—at All Candidates meetings, over the telephone, when a candidate knocks on your door, or when you visit a campaign office. Please click here to read the questions, along with some tips for getting the most out of opportunities for speaking with candidates.

Please remember that the more candidates hear from our community now, the more likely they will be to give arthritis the attention it deserves when the next government is formed. More than 600,000 British Columbians with arthritis can have a powerful voice, if we speak up together.
