During this Federal election, ACE is focusing attention on a critically important area of inflammatory arthritis treatment and care: high rates of serious inflammatory arthritis in Aboriginal populations, and the inadequate coverage offered by the Non-Insured Health Benefit plan (NIHB) for medically necessary medications.
The failure of the NIHB to provide adequate coverage for "gold standard" arthritis medications constitutes discrimination. Arthritis Consumer Experts will be addressing this issue nationally in the coming weeks and months, and we would like your help.
